We are excited to announce the launch of our 2023 Sustainability Report, "Building the Change." This comprehensive 71-page document highlights our significant progress and commitment to sustainability and encapsulates our initiatives and achievements over the past year in various areas important to our mission and values.
Our journey toward sustainability has seen significant strides since our last report. We remain committed to transparency and continuously improving our sustainability efforts. This 2023 report provides an honest view of our actions, efforts, learnings, and challenges as we strive to become a more sustainable and accountable company.
The report is organized into five key sections.
Empowering our People
This section highlights our initiatives and successes in fostering a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented community. In 2023, we continued to uphold our cherished culture and values, even when faced with challenges. We introduced the Rebel Clubs, offering a range of interest groups to foster interaction and engagement among team members.
Strengthening Our Communities
This section showcases our efforts in community engagement and social responsibility. In 2023, we concentrated on making a genuine impact on society, supporting causes such as The Little People Association, and partnering with local Work Integration Social Enterprises to support inclusive workplaces.
Protecting Our Planet
This section details our actions and achievements in reducing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainability. 2023 in summary: we planted over 5,000 trees, measured our greenhouse gas emissions to establish a full-year baseline, and implemented some actions to reduce our negative impact while also trying to be mindful about how we consume the natural resources.
Harnessing the Power of Technology
We demonstrate how we've leveraged technology to drive positive change and innovation. Our mission is to create value through technology within honest partnerships, using it as a tool for both innovation and sustainability. We have integrated sustainability into our product development process, emphasizing efficiency and the use of cross-functional teams.
Building a Responsible Business
This final section outlines our commitment to ethical practices, transparency, and long-term sustainability. In 2023, we achieved ISO 14001 certification for environmental management and participated in the EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment, earning a Silver medal. Our governance practices ensure accountability and transparency in our decision-making processes.
