Building on top of a property tech platform for thousands of B2B companies in US
DMG embarked on upgrading its existing web platform, focusing on the unique demands of users like electricians and plumbers. The aim was to streamline workflows for increased productivity and reduced margins and cycle times. This initiative underscores DMG's commitment to innovation, user needs, and enhanced service delivery.
The Challenge
DMG approached us for support in new product development, specifically to enhance its already existing platform, DMG Pro. The aim was to incorporate routine work into the tool to reduce manual efforts in contract, agreement and fulfillment workflows, and in turn, optimize margins and cycle times.
The task required us to swiftly assemble a cross-functional remote team and establish a consultative working process to efficiently support the Product Owner in requirement definition. As the team mainly tackled production issues and client-suggested enhancements, an additional challenge was to appropriately prioritize tasks.

The Strategy
By establishing trust and open communication, a seamless collaboration environment was created. Our self-sufficient frontend, backend, and QA team embraced the tech stack, crafting a web app to automate tasks from property management to work scheduling. We were receptive to DMG’s way of working and vice-versa which culminated into quality output on both sides.
What we did
Web development
In February 2022, we joined forces with DMG, beginning with contributing to existing projects and then initiating a fresh project with a second team in June. Initially bolstering their existing crew, we soon established a fully autonomous product team, handling the end-to-end tech stack. Our dedicated backend and frontend Technical Leads worked closely with stakeholders to choose the most suitable technologies. Leading the development process, we collaborated with DMG to construct a data-intensive web application.
Our efforts concentrated on integrating new functionality into the existing platform to optimize workflows among teams carrying out maintenance work such as electricians, plumbers, and cleaning staff. We also participated in managing the invoicing process and developing smaller applications that facilitated an end-to-end flow. Currently, we're engrossed in creating an internet-based software system to automate customer property management, contract term creation, provider agreement creation, workflow for agreement processing, and work scheduling.
Launch
The first significant milestone was the release of the Routine Contracts' initial version in April. Our teams have since prioritized developing and launching the second version, which will be implemented starting from August. This proactive approach not only signifies our commitment to meeting DMG's needs but also ensures a faster product-market fit.
