Compleye is an Agile platform which delivers actionable and objective insights to technology-driven companies, assisting them in all their compliance challenges. The aim of this collaboration was to develop a compliance platform to enable smarter decisions and stronger performance on organizations’ security & privacy priorities without compromising on quality.
The Challenge
Compleye sought our help in developing an online tool to streamline the often complex and document-heavy process of securing safety certifications, like ISO27001, for businesses of all sizes. The challenge lay in leveraging technology to transform this daunting task into a more efficient and manageable process for both large enterprises and SMBs.

The Strategy
The project was initially envisioned as a means to declutter the founder’s life and support Karolin Kruiskamp in managing her own customers and their various needs.
With a background of 25 years in organisational design and 15 years of experience in the Tech Start-up industry, Karolin has encountered her first compliance challenge in 2017.
The main pain points which we addressed were losing time in sorting through hundreds of documents and using different platforms for different small tasks.
Basically, spending more time piercing a lot of separate elements together instead of using the data to articulate solutions to the clients’ problems.
What we did
Discovery workshops
Beginning the project with intensive discovery workshops, we gathered crucial data and started formulating the core features for the Compleye platform. Prior preparation allowed us to outline a clear roadmap for the first half-year of the project, and we developed a clickable prototype in a design workshop. This prototype then evolved into an MVP, designed to streamline the compliance process for Compleye's clients by consolidating tasks on a single platform, eliminating the need for multiple tools.
Product development
Our product development approach ensured full transparency, timely delivery, and reliability throughout the end-to-end process. The goal was simple yet ambitious: to make compliance easy and engaging. To accomplish this, we incorporated elements of gamification into the platform, creating an intuitive dashboard that presented valuable stats and insights. We crafted features to deliver instant operational value with a simple click.
Launch and maintenance
Today, Compleye serves as a one-stop solution for compliance officers, offering features like an Activity Log to track changes, a lean approach to certification, reduced documentation, and a customizable Information Security Management System. It also includes an Incident Management System, vendor management & assessment tool, and policy storage, significantly reducing the reliance on multiple tools and data storage.
