Setting the standard as a great workplace
For the second year in a row, RebelDot was recognized as one of the Best Places to Work. This recognition speaks a lot about the incredible culture we’ve built together, about the people, the growth, and the care we pour into making RebelDot a place where everyone feels valued.
Celebrated as a Top Employer
Being recognized as one of the most wanted employers in Cluj-Napoca was a moment of pride for us. Making it to the top 25 showed how much our culture, values, and way of working resonate with people. It's inspiring to see our community resonate with others and spark interest in joining our journey.
Growing the rebel community
In 2024, 46 new rebels joined our team, bringing fresh energy, ideas, and innovation. Each new addition has contributed to the diverse community that defines RebelDot. It’s been amazing to watch our team grow stronger together.
Shaping future talent through internships
Along the year, we organized two internship programs designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow alongside our team.
Our summer .NET and React internship acted as a pre-employment training program, selecting nine interns from over 1,000 applicants. Then, the AI program began with a hackathon that drew over 300 applicants, with 20 participants showcasing their skills. From there, six were selected to join our AI team for a three-month internship starting in November.
Inspiring careers with Ignite Explore
As part of the Ignite Explore program, we welcomed 15 bright teenagers into our office. Organized by Steelcase and World Vision Romania, the initiative focused on helping young people explore career paths. During their visit, they connected with our team, learned about what we do, and participated in an engaging workshop led by our QA Lead, Sandra.

Earning global recognition for excellence
In 2024, we earned the titles of Clutch Global and Clutch Champion, awarded by Clutch based on independent client reviews. These recognitions validate the trust and transparency we’ve built with our partners. Among Europe’s fastest-growing companies
RebelDot earned its place on the FT 1000 Fastest-Growing Companies in Europe list for the second consecutive year, ranking 382nd. This recognition highlights our commitment to creating impactful digital solutions and supporting our team's growth. It’s all thanks to the incredible efforts of our team and the trust of our partners.
Launching the RebelVentures site
At the beginning of the year, we re-launched RebelVentures as RebelDot’s investment arm aimed at boosting tech advancements in startups dedicated to creating a better world. We launched the RebelVentures website, marking a new chapter in our journey of supporting innovation.
Leading the AI Conversation
Our webinar on leveraging AI for business growth brought together industry leaders to explore how AI can transform businesses in the coming years. Hosted by Andreea Pop, alongside speakers like Vadim Fîntînari, Raz Burciu, and Ana Burciu, the discussion provided actionable insights into adopting AI and preparing for an AI-driven future. It was a meaningful step toward helping businesses harness the potential of emerging technologies.
This year, we also launched RebelDot AI, focusing on delivering tailored AI services to help businesses innovate and thrive. From streamlining operations and enhancing decision-making processes to creating smarter, data-driven solutions, our AI services are designed to address real business challenges. Whether it’s through custom AI integrations, strategy development, or cutting-edge applications, RebelDot AI empowers companies to fully leverage the potential of artificial intelligence to drive meaningful impact.
Connecting through technology
In 2024 we hosted the Romanian launch of the UK & Romanian Technology Report on the terrace of our headquarters. The event brought together distinguished guests, including British Deputy Ambassador Rebecca Shah and leading CEOs from Romania and the UK, for an evening of insightful discussions and networking. It was an honor to contribute to shaping the conversation around tech collaboration between our nations.

Sharing our sustainability progress
We proudly released our 2023 Sustainability Report, Building the Change, showcasing our commitment to sustainability. This 71-page report offers a transparent view of our progress, challenges, and learnings in areas that align with our mission. With each step forward, we’re reinforcing our dedication to creating a more sustainable future.
Planting roots for a better tomorrow
In collaboration with CERT and Accesa, we participated in a massive tree-planting effort near Deleni, Cluj, where we planted 10,000 trees to stabilize an area at risk of landslides. With the help of over 60 team members, family, and friends, we turned our efforts into a lasting impact. This day reminded us of the importance of preserving nature as the foundation of our lives and communities.
Hosting the Cluj Climathon
As hosts of the Cluj Climathon 2024, we partnered with Spherik Accelerator to tackle the challenge of reducing food waste. The event brought together participants of all ages to share innovative ideas and sustainable practices. Supporting such initiatives is part of our commitment to engaging with the community and inspiring action toward a more sustainable future.
Sparking conversations with sustainable tech
In April 2024 we launched Sustainable Technology Day, a celebration that will serve as a platform to spark global conversations on sustainability in tech. Through this initiative, we aim to provide resources and incentives for adopting sustainable practices in the industry.
How We Celebrated in 2024
Spring, sustainability, and the opening of our new floor
Last spring, we celebrated the opening of our new floor (yes, now our HQ in Cluj spreads to three floors) with a night filled with fun, games, and sustainability-themed challenges. From Trivia to Guess the Song: Sustainability Edition, the evening combined laughter, learning, and friendly competition. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our values of togetherness, fun, and growth, while keeping sustainability at the heart of it all.
Wild Wild West: summer party and 6th anniversary
Our Wild Wild West-themed summer party was the perfect way to mark our sixth anniversary. The night was full of unforgettable moments, and a celebration of the incredible journey we’ve shared. Riding together through six years of success, this evening reminded us of the strong bonds and fun-loving spirit that define our rebel community.
Throwback to the 2000s: our Xmas party
For this year’s Christmas Party, we hit rewind to the 2000s, where Nokia phones ruled, and pop icons reigned supreme. With the ultimate Y2K playlist, nostalgic outfits, and rebels channeling their inner Britney or Justin, the night was a perfect mix of energy, style, and memories.
A Year of Collaboration and Purpose
Meals for a better community
During Noaptea Companiilor, we opened our doors not just for office tours but for a greater purpose. For every visitor who stopped by, we donated a meal to O Masa Calda, a local organization providing meals to those in need. The result? 270 meals prepared and served with care.
Rebels with a cause: making an impact together
This year’s Rebels With a Cause fundraiser showcased our team’s creativity and heart, raising over €7,000 for a cause close to us. From handmade items to unique experiences, it highlighted our commitment to togetherness and making a difference beyond our community.
Laptops for a brighter future
As part of the IT Labs project by Romanian Business Leaders, we donated 11 refurbished laptops to a school in Rasca, helping students in this rural area access better tools for learning. Supporting education in our local communities is a cause we deeply care about and are proud to contribute to.
Supporting the next generation: defineSchool project
We hosted a workshop and networking event for defineSchool, a program bridging tech and business expertise with aspiring entrepreneurs. Our own Andreea Pop shared insights on human-centered approaches to business and the difference between selling products and solving problems. We’re happy to support initiatives that empower the next generation of leaders.
Rebels at MTB Odyssey Apuseni
As the main partner of the MTB Odyssey Apuseni Race, we celebrated togetherness and fun, yet again. through adventure. This event, set against the stunning Apuseni Mountains, was a perfect blend of sports, nature, and community. Supporting this race reflects our values and our love for connecting with like-minded enthusiasts.
Hosting JSHeroes
We were thrilled to host JSHeroes meetups at our office twice this year, bringing together passionate developers to share knowledge, ideas, and inspiration. Events like these are part of our commitment to fostering a strong and collaborative tech community.
Health and Harmony at Work
Stepping up: Walking Challenge
This year, we took a collective step towards healthier habits with our Walking Challenge. For a month, our team clocked over 15 million steps, explored new routes, and supported each other in staying active and healthy. To keep things interesting, each week featured a new mini-challenge, from hydration week to no-sugar week, encouraging small yet impactful lifestyle changes.
Navigating challenges: Conflict Resolution Week
Conflict is inevitable, but handling it effectively is a skill worth mastering. During Conflict Resolution Week, we focused on building this crucial workplace skill through engaging activities and discussions. The highlight of the week? An interactive Workshop on Conflict Resolution, where we learned practical strategies to address disagreements professionally and constructively.
Caring and sharing: Happiness Week
February brought us our much-loved Happiness Week, a time dedicated to spreading joy, kindness, and creativity within our team. Each participant became a “care bear,” assigned to secretly brighten a colleague’s week with thoughtful gestures and surprises. From creative notes to small acts of kindness, the week was a heartwarming reminder of the power of connection and care in creating a positive work environment.
Thinking about 2024, it’s clear this year was more than just a list of milestones, it was a reminder of what we can achieve when we come together. We celebrated the connections that make RebelDot a true community, the creativity that drives us forward, and the efforts that leave a lasting impact on the world around us.
